{Living in a Snow-globe}

This morning we woke up to at least an inch of new snow and that was just the beginning.
It continuously snowed for hours and didn't let up until around 5:00. But of course that wasn't the end. It is currently still snowing and predicted to keep up until friday.
No school is all I am crossing my fingers for =)

Us Pullman-ites that were here 4 years ago experienced the wonderfulness of college being cancelled for two days. Who woulda' thought that was possible. According to the records it was the first "snow-day" in 22 years. Here's some old snapshots of that wonderful day..
The corner of Linden and B st.
Looking down Linden st.
My good buddy Jeff brought out his snowmobile at Alpha Tau Omega
and the possibilities seemed endless.

Thats enough of memory lane but those snow days were truly memorable.
Here are a few things I came across during my stumbling today.

I thought these vintage themed posters (especially the Norman Rockwell) created for relevant issues were pretty cool.
I wrote a report on Net Neutrality last semester and truly think people need to be more educated about it, it could affect us sooner then we think.
In short Net Neutrality means that Interent service providers wont discriminate or limit us to different kinds of content and applications online. It guarantees a level playing field for all websites and Internet technologies. If there wasn't net neutrality we would have no control as to what we have access to on the internet because of our service providers.
Basically bullshit.

Besides the little rant on something I am concerned about, I also found some great ideas/finds while stumbling...

So key for a designers keyboard.

I need this.
And I really really want this in my home. Desperately.

Now time to watch Justin and the guys play poker so that I soon will be able to play. I have a feeling beginners luck will be on my side the day I decide to actually step up to the plate and play on my own =)
